UK: High Hard / Low Hard CuBe Mold Alloy
High Hard, or Low hard are both copper- beryllium alloys. These Copper- Beryllium (PH) Alloys get their strength from “Precipitation Heat Treating”. This grade of beryllium copper material has a very high hardness to conductivity ratio and is good for high-stress applications where erosion is a concern. Applications for high hard low-hard are mainly in Mold tooling including; cavity and core inserts, sprew sections and gates.
