Our Beryllium Copper C17200 Inventory & Properties
We stock C17200 in a range of forms, including round rod, bar, tube, and strip. The alloy can be easily formed or machined and responds exceptionally well to a low-temperature heat treatment of 600 degrees for 2-3 hours, which produces maximum strength and hardness.
Chemical Properties
C17200 Copper Beryllium is engineered to meet the highest standards of quality and performance. It primarily consists of copper, with a Beryllium content of 1.80-2.00% and a minimum of 0.20% Cobalt. Fabrication Properties

It has good suitability for soldering and brazing, while it also performs well in gas-shielded arc welding and coated metal arc welding. Spot welding is another area where this alloy excels. However, it’s worth noting that oxyacetylene welding is not recommended for C17200. Its capacity for being cold-formed also adds to its value in various applications.
